      lucid dream CONFUZION!

      hey
last night i i remember having a few short dreams, and i remember one of them i looked at my hands and they had 6 fingers. the problem is i dont remember realising that it was a dream. i cant remember controlling myself.
when i woke up this morning i thought that they were all dreams of having lucid dreams.
is this normal in the morning after waking up to lucid dreams? does those lucid dreams feel like they were dreams? if that makes any sense.

btw this is like my first time ive had lucid dreams or anywhere near it.

thanks any help will be great.

If you never realised you were dreaming, it was not lucid.

      To fix confusion:

Lucid dream is when you realise you are dreaming. Even if you cannot control it. No matter what, it all comes down to being aware that you are in a dream.

The simple act of reality checking does not make you lucid. Reality checks are to try and get the message to your head that you are dreaming. If you notice at that time, in the dream that you had 6 fingers, you were more likely to realise that it was in fact a dream.

Realizing your dreaming is a very odd concept and it might take a few tries before you get it. In a dream, everything that you see is not real, and through life, you've learned to trust your eyes. You have to become skeptical of your reality. Weird huh?

It could be that lucid dreaming is just on your mind, so you are having dreams about it, without ever becoming lucid. Don't worry. If you keep this up, one of these dreams is bound to click and give you a lucid.
