      Another introduction topic.

HI guys! I recently found things about lucid dreaming and Im completely interested on it, because I have a lot of dreams (I remember some of them but only some images) and I cannot make a thing to control them... I saw some techinques on the net to LD one of them is the WILD which fascinates me the most. I just have a couple of questions to do because im very curious... When you are in SP what do you have to do to enter a lucid dream? Continue to relax?
And I saw various tutorials in youtube about lucidology (yeah I saw a thread in this forum about it that says not to believe in everything) but I am curious in his timer. What happens when you reach the 20 minutes beep? You wake up in a dream? or in SP? Anyway I hope I will learn a lot of stuff here. Take care guys.

      Hi

Basicly there are two ways to enter a dream from sleep paralysis: passive and active. With the passive technique you'll observe the hallucinations you might have and you wait until you're in a dream. With the active technique you'll try to control the hallucinations until you have enough control over them to form a dream scene. Basicly. You'll have the search the forums or wait for someone with more experience on this for the details.

      Good luck!

      Hey Welcome to DreamViews!

I can answer one of your questions:

When you are in SP what do you have to do to enter a lucid dream? Continue to
      relax?
Well, you can focus on your hallucinations, and watch them become more detailed into a dream. Or you can imagine a dream scene, and focus on that a lot. Then hopefully the scene will appear. There are several other ways, and you can look around here.
Hope this helped! See you around DV.

Yeah that lucidology page on youtube isn't too popular around here but I did hear that the lucid timer has helped atleast. I don't know much about it myself.

And yes, once in Sleep Paralysis, you need to remain calm and like what everypne else is saying, try focusing on the hallucinations.

Thanks very much for your replies! I think the timer doesnt work for me because even when I am awake only 20 minutes I cant fall asleep in the first eight minutes xD do I have to add some more time to it?
