      Question hello lucid dreamers :)

      Hi,
I am looking for some guidance here, because I am not sure what I have been experiencing. So I am glad for any advice, thank you.

One night i woke up, though my eyes were closed, i saw the room, was paralysed and I have heard some dark whispering around me, very scary. I am not sure if I was completely conscious, I couldnt think logically.

Two months ago, I awoke and felt like there was something dangerous in front of my bed, which I could not see, but I immediately got paralysed by fear, when I looked there. So I started singin Hare Krisha to protect myself, and fear disappeared quickly and I saw a Buddha-being.

It came again after a week and I tried a buddhist mantra- i saw warm pink colour around me, i felt so safe like never before and a choir was singing straange tune which was making me floating, then it changed to Hare Krisna tune from Hair. I remember back of my eyelids then and i fell asleep again.

I am very confused, because I am not sure, If I am fully conscious. I cant think very clearly and logically, and that makes me crazy. Before mantras saved me, when i was paralysed, i wanted to turn the light on to stop it. I felt like i saw my hands reaching the light, but everytime i turned it, i realized that i was still sleeping and it began again- up to 10 times! That was so mad!

I am so glad i found some key how to stop the fear of paralysis, but I would love to extend it into Lucid dreaming and have clear thinking processes, to control it, but I dont know how. I dont know how to make a decision there- except mantras. What do you guys think? Let me know, please.. :peace:

Ah, sounds like a false awakening, I would recomend doing a reality check every time you wake up, so when that happens if you are asleep, out of habit you can try the RC and become lucid.

      Welcome to DV, btw.

Thanks, I am glad to be here, to share experience with similiar people.

I am not sure, if I can even think about some reality checks when I am there. I dont feel coscious, but like on autopilot... How to become more aware? I cant imagine doing RC there.

Hm, well, to become more aware during those moments, try to be more aware during your waking life? Either that or imagine the situation happening, then performing a RC.
