Question Wild vs Mild, which is better?

I haven't posted in a long time, but I decided to try lucid dreaming again. I was just wondering which technique do you favor for newbies, and which has a better outcome? Also, can your combine two techniques?

Have you tried DILD? My first lucid was a DILD, and 3 of my lucids came so inside a dream.

I think some variations on WILD can also. be quite effective. Some of them require you to move very little (or not at all) after waking. Some are FILD and CANWILD.

Another technique is DELID. However, it kinda helps to be lucid first!

All i had so far is DILDs. I tried MILD the first time this morning, but didn't have luck. They say MILDs give you a 60% chance to have a LD. Well, i was in that 40% i guess.. I had a few exits right into Sleep paralysis though, so i guess it isn't that hard.
WILDs are hard, for me at least, cause when i try to do it, i either fall asleep, or reach a state where my heart starts to beat very fast and it throws me out of the "feeling heavy" state. And i'm completely calm, i'm not nervous about SP, so i don't get it.
So yea, MILD is better to start with. A dream journal is important.
