      Blured beginings of dreams

      Hello there,

Last night was the first one I tried some of the methods described in this site for better dream recall. I was amazed with the results. I usually recall one dream per month (actually the last "scene(s)" of it) but last night I was able to recall two quite lengthy ones.

The thing is I noticed that the beginning of each one is really blurred (I can't recall details). Actually so blurred that I am not even sure if that is the beginning of the dream or if there was something before it.

So my question is, if there is some method to improve my memory or if the only thing I have to do is practice.

      Thanks in advance

Theres a supplement called choline (bitartrate) and can be found in this thread http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...889#post757889.

      "Effects on Dreaming
Choline is used along with B5 to produce the neurotransmitter Acetylcholine, which is the primary neurotransmitter used in REM sleep. This increases the vividness and the recall of dreams. This claim is reputed by the medical community as a modern myth."

Vitamin B6 also helps with producing more vivid dreams and makes them easier to recall, can also be found in the thread.

you dont need all that stuff to get beter dream recal but it can help. There is alot you can do to improve dream recal. You need a dream journal and when you wake up don't move. You might think you forgot it but it is usually still there and if you don't move you can sometimes reclaim it by thinking about it. Just think of random stuff until you get a vauge memory of something you did from your dream and then think about why that happened in your dream and it will just pop back into your head. after that right it down right away. You might think youl remember later it but you usualy wont. Read the tutorials for alot beter advice.

Yeah just wanted to throw it in there since it actually works to get higher dream activity I'm taking vitamin b6 in the morning (multivitamins) and before going to bed (ZMA, zink magnesium, vitamin b6). Those are for the purpose of recovering after working out etc. And I noticed since I started taking them, my dream activity went up, either the dream recall went better or I had more vivid dreams, or both. I recently started with a journal aswell, to find signs (witch I havent found any good yet..) and to improve my memory.
