      Lightbulb Trouble making things/persons appear?

Then you might want to try this. (Only works if there's a DC present)

Let's say you want to find a certain person or object, and for some reason you cant make it appear yourself, theres 2 things you can ask a DC to do.

*You can ask him to simply use magic to make it appear. You must be convinced that he can actually do it tho! I can give an example I did. I wanted to find my GF, I asked a little boy if he could summon her behind me, he asked "how close?". Then she appeared behind me.

*If your DC cant use magic, you can simply ask him/her to show you where that person or object is. And while walking there, imagine what you're looking for - and the DC will take you to it.

Worked for me every single time without failure. Since Im not always in 100% control over everything, meaning I cant always summon things myself, DCs can come quite handy!

(For fun I once asked a DC to take me to the hottest girl around. While walking there I actually created a girl in my mind. When we found her, the dream couldnt carry on much longer, she was actually so damn hot that I lost control over my dream and woke up. SO USE THIS WITH CAUTION )

If you don't have good dream control in the current lucid, I don't believe you can summon things. You would have to increase clarity, vividness, and awareness in order to summon something.

Awesome tip, thanks. I had trouble with that before. Newb question, DC means dream character correct? I am slightly wary of approaching those (I'm new to this whole lucid dream thing), I remember being a little freaked out by them, knowing that they are part of my subconscious or whatever, but being afraid they might be a little too real or independent. I know it sounds stupid, but I am sort of afraid they will react like the infected people in 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers' or agent Smith in 'the Matrix', and freak out that I have become lucid, like I'm not supposed to be. Has this happened to anyone?

Great advice. I love the surprises that occur when you use passive control, like this. You just leave the specifics up to the dream

When I wanted to see how cake tasted in a dream I just opened the fridge and it was filled with cake. Kind of like the room of requirement from Harry Potter.

I haven't been able to stay in a lucid dream for more than 2 minutes though so I haven't had much time try things.
