      Red face new! >>

i've been trying to write this up for the last few hours D: funny how i know everything i want to write until i actually sit down to write it x___x (also american psycho running in the background has me a little distracted XD).

umm, okay, i've always sucked at these kinds of posts x__x but here we go.

i love mermaids, if there's one thing you can say about me it's that. i'm more interested in astral projection than i am in lucid dreaming, but it's still one of my goals to be able to better control my dreams.

i remember having lucid dreams about... six? maybe six years ago, but i never induced any of them. i'm not even sure i was completely lucid, it was always just at the point where i could say "okay, so, i'm dreaming.". i only found out you could control them a bit later than that, but all i've ever really done is fly around and moles--- yeah XD.

i'm having a reaaaally hard time trying to distinguish between my out of body experiences and dreams in which i believe i'm having an out of body experience x_x that's not what you want now, is it? i really hope i figure this out soon D:.

i've been stalking dream views for a while now o_o i've been wanting to join for the past few days but i've put it off because i can be socially awkward ._.

okay, i hope i haven't bored you all too much o_o; and i hope to get the chance to be active in this community ^__^.

Welcome aboard! I am not a big help in the OBE (out of body experience) section, but if you have any questions on lucid dreaming, I wouldn't mind helping you out.

      Welcome!
      Have a nice stay!

Besides I think OBE and Lucid dream are the same thing. Well depends on which persons definition of the two you will go by. Most are lucid dreams or dreams non lucid. I haven't really spotted anyone having a clear cut out OBE, many are clearly just lucid dreams or can't really be proven to be either.
Depends as said which definition you will go by.
I've taken it to be like OBE==Lucid, Lucid==OBE dream in 99% of the cases.
In dreams you mostly really aren't in your 'body' so to speak anyway. You have your if you may inner world which is personal and where you usually find yourself and there are stuff like the Outer worlds, shared worlds and whatnot. You can visit others inner worlds etc depending if you believe that stuff.
Just wanted to ramble a little.

thank you! ^_^ and to be honest after my last oobe/ld experience i started to question whether or not they were just the same thing myself :S but i don't want to say anything for sure until i experiment a bit more. one reason i'm reluctant to believe that is because i can believe that you can actually roam around in the physical as well as the astral planes, but i know not many people would agree with me on that i'll just keep trying and hopefully i land something semi-concrete soon, thank you for your input! i'll definitely keep that in mind ^_^.
