      Discconected from Dreams

Does anyone else feel really disconnected from their dreams? i only recall my dreams afterwards and i remember them but i just feel like i was never really apart of them. i have done reality checks throughout the day but it never comes close to entering my mind during dreams. it feels like i dont think during dreams. is this normal or is there away to improve this? sorry if this is a stupid question. thanks for the help

I've felt that in some of my first LDs. I thought, "I'm dreaming! Yea...woo...It doesn't feel like it...". It got better the more I had.

Some dreams you are like a puppet. You get dragged around by the dreamworld, pushed into doing things. Others, you have ability to think, even when not lucid. If you spend time practicing getting lucid, you'll develop clearer thinking, better control, and a lot more engagement with your dreamworld.

Only do a reality check when you notice something 'dream-like', or out of the ordinary.
