If you ask any dreamer which method is the easiest for beginners, a lot of them would say the DILD. The idea to that is to do checks every so often in the real world to make sure that you arent dreaming. You will be more inclined to do these "reality checks" in your dreams, but instead of working, they will fail. And then from there you will know that you are dreaming. You can look into DILDs i the tutorials.

That being said, I am as limited as you are. But I can WILD nevertheless. So you shouldn't give up on it.

As your dream recall gets better, so will your dream clarity. I know this from experience. Back before I wrote in a DJ, I used to have about 1 good dream a month. Now I have a good dream every 3-4 days! Its all in the understanding of dreams.

I think I'll try DILDing first... Thanks for the help!

I have a question, though. I was on other boards before being directed to this one, and a lot of people say that they don't even have stories in their dreams, they just decide to do whatever they want... They can alter everything and anything, from how many people there are in the world to the weather. Is this how all LD's work?
