Post I have a question about dreaming

I have been lucid dreaming since I was 4.

Tthe other month I just had what would be termed my first "false awakening" dream except for the fact I didn't wake up until that dream ended.

So where am I excetly in the dreaming mode (I can have lucid dreams ((I know I am dreaming)) but rarley can control them and not wake up from a false awakinging dream until after the dream.)?

What I am trying to ask how come during my first "false awakening" dream I didn't wake up until after the dream ended.

I'm not sure exactly what your question is... Are you asking why you didn't wake up until after you finished having a false awakening dream?

You can have a false awakening and then have an entire dream following it. You don't have to awaken from a false awakening right away. I've had numerous dreams stemming from false awakenings.

Also, learning how to control your dreams is just something you have to practice. Do you know your dreaming, you just have no control over your own actions? Or are you dreaming and able to control your actions but not the world around you?

      Hope I've helped.

I really don't want to be that guy, but grammar please? It'd make it a lot easier to help as I'm having trouble understanding the question!

And unless that's somehow contributing to making your post difficult to understand, its irrelevant; because I never called you anything else.

I said I didn't want to be the kind of guy who hounds for grammar, but in your case it'd make it easier for me to help you and help you with whats happening because at the moment I'm having trouble understanding your question.

In that case, dreams stemmed from false awakenings are just like any other dream. What SteadyState said is absolutely correct, it is entirely possible to have a full length dream after a false awakening. In fact, its even possible to have multiple false awakenings in one night.
