Thread: Just started last night!!!

I just began interested in the idea of lucid dreaming yesterday and spent a couple hours researching and reading most of the information on this website... In hope that i would be able to remember my dreams last night i fell asleep with the thought in my head that 'I will remember my dreams when i wake up'. This made it a little harder for me to fall asleep as i was trying to stay concentrated on being able to remember when i woke up.... is this normal?
Next thing i knew i'm wide awake and i have something stuck in my head: Angel's Landing. This is a place that i've been too and i suspect that it had some involvement in my dream. I tried as hard as i could to remember everything that happened in my dream. I could remember one scene which involved my best friend, I remember this scene to actually be quite normal. Then my other dream, i feel this one must have come earlier, rushed into my head... it involved spanish class in a classroom that wasn't for spanish and without a spanish teacher that i know... It was the first day of school and most of the people in the room were my friends, one of my friends dad even showed up and sat next to me. This is pretty much all i can remember. But nothing about Angels Landing....
As soon as i remembered all of this i typed it onto my computer which i will continue to do until i get a proper dream journal. One final question: Is it possible to wake up remembering my dreams and thinking that they weren't lucid when somehow they actually were? I feel like if i remembered them i should know if they were lucid, and right now i don't think they were... But is this possible?
