Thread: I think i made up a beautiful song in a lucid dream!!!

So i just found out about lucid dreams and became really interested yesterday... Now i'm remembering back to a couple months ago when i had a dream about a concert for my favorite band. In my dream i somehow made up an incredible song that doesn't even exist. It was incredible... even with an awesome guitar solo. something i don't think i could ever make up in real life. Is it possible that this was all done in a lucid dream? Could i have subconsciously made up an incredible song in a non-lucid dream also? has anyone ever had an experience like this?

I had a dream about a week or two ago where I was singing along with a song that was playing, but I don't recognize it at all. It felt wonderful to be a part of the music and I felt so elated and free! I get that way sometimes when I get really into a song IRL.

I've heard of many others who have composed music or at least listened to music in their dreams which their minds have developed. Feel free to look around and see what others have said regarding the subject.

Yea I have. I had a dream once that I was playing guitar in Metallica, and we were playing a song I'd never heard before. It was a pretty bad ass song.
