What's a Dream guide???

I've seen this term in several places... what is it and how do i get it?

Around here, that depends on what you mean by Dream Guide. I'd say around 85% of the time you read about it, we are referring to a character in your dream that is unlike your other dream characters. According to the DV Dictionary, they are Dream Characters that give you information about your dream.

Then there's the Dream Guides who are part of staff. They welcome new members and answer questions you may have. There's a list of them here: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/showgroups.php

Also there is a dispute about dream guides being part of your mind or living beings. Also some never have met them. I have never met a dream guide so I can't help from personal experience.

Is it possible to have multiple dream guides? or does everyone usually have one dream guide, specific to them? I ask because many people post stuff like "goals: meet my dream guide" which implies that they have one and everyone has one...
