My current state of dream recall...

5 days ago I couldn't tell you anything about my dreams each morning. I had next to zero interest and no motivation. Since finding this site and doing some research on Lucid Dreaming. I now have tons of interest and an unbelievable amount of motivation (I'm waking myself up at 5:40 for christ sake!)...

Now. After two and a half nights of sleep (the second half will be coming in a little bit) I can remember somewheres around 5 dreams. Is this good?
Also, I have a problem even now as I'm typing this. I have awoken and written one fragment of a dream in my DJ. However like a word would be stuck on the end of my tongue, I feel like a dream is stuck on the end of my mind. A much more interesting dream than the one i awoke remembering. I can't bear to lose it! so in situations like this what can i do?
I wander through the woods listening to the sound of nature. The sky turns red and opens before me. I realize that I must be dreaming... My adventure has just begun.

It may come to you the way ninja said, but sometimes you may randomly recall it during the day.

If you see something normal that could be related to what happened in the dream, you might recall it.

For example, 2 hours after I woke up, I went to the bathroom, looked outside, and said, "At least my plants don't need to be watered today." Right then, I remembered about how I forgot to give the lizards some water, and my whole dream came to me. (It happened after I attempted FILD, so it did not give me a lucid, but it sure as hell made a long, vivid dream.)
