Lightbulb Hey everyone, A quick question for someone in practise.

      Hey Everyone,
My first post here, I''ve just joined since I've learned about Lucid Dreaming a bit of time ago and have become fascinated at it and when I did, I wanted to try it almost immediately.
Of course, I know its not always an overnight thing and I have been doing lots of reality checks and have a great dream diary and dream recall page.
I do wonder and do apologize if this infomation is elsewhere but Im wondering, what should I be thinking of after I turn of the lights and try to go to sleep and become lucid in my dreams?
      Thank You!

Nothing. Before you goto sleep, tell yourself a few times you're going to remember your dreams in the greatest detail possible, then just goto sleep. Forcing thoughts about lucid dreaming and trying to keep track of too many things will cause insomnia.

      Rathez is right.

Having said that: If you do what's called WBTB, you're going to want to think about lucid dreaming itself, what you want out of it, and what you would imagine AFTER you've already slept for a few hours. The first few (4.5-7) hours of sleep should be of a clear mind where you are resting up well.
