I love novelty products. Because its just fun to have stupid little ornaments and impractical gadgets sitting around. Desk toys are the coolest, like the Newtons Cradle.
But today, my dreams were answered (lol). I was walking around The Warehouse, a range of shops in New Zealand (that are decorated a bit like warehouses inside, and sell everything from clothes to electronics and blah blah) and as I was walking around the department full of photoframes, ornaments, and gift ideas, I saw what I've been wanting to find for a long time. A mini shopping trolley. I saw a tiny trolley on an ad, and really wanted to find one ever since. And there it was, sitting on a shelf. There were only 3, so the urgency to buy one overwhelmed me and an hour later I was driving home with it.
Its the coolest thing ever and I'll be sitting on a short table in my room for a looooonnnng time. It cost $14.99 NZD. It cradles my iPod Touch awesomely. The wheels move genuinely, the seat can be pulled in and out like a genuine trolley, and you can stack more than one together. It really is like a scaled down version of the real thing.
Think I'm mad? My mother does.
If you live in New Zealand, visit your local Warehouse and see if they have one. I've never seen one sold in stores before though, until today when I bought one (it was a new Warehouse though). Otherwise, you can buy the exact one online here. No international shipping though, so New Zealanders only.
If you live outside of NZ, you can buy a similar product. Its much smaller than the one I have, and not quite the same, but its still a great alternative. Click here.
Maybe I'll spawn a few hundred of these in my lucid dreams and push them down a hill.
