Lucid Dreaming Workshop - Alexandria, VA - Oct. 2, 2005

A all-day lucid dreaming workshop will be held in Alexandria, VA this fall (Oct. 2, 2005). It will be lead by the editor of the Lucid Dream Exchange and other experienced lucid dreamers. Some teaching will also be done on other forms of extraordinary dreaming including: mutual dreaming, precognitive dreaming, and the dream helper ceremony.

This sounds like a good rendezvous opportunity for all nearby DV members. I'm also in VA (about 2 hours from Alexandria) so there is a good chance I will attend that...if others also attend.

That's all I would go there for....to just hang out and party with some of the local DV members. I don't know how enthused I would be about the actual conference.

you know i was thinking of moving it to, but i didn't know where I should've put it, so i just left it...but i suspect that this thread will get a lot more publicity here than in user announcements or any other place for that matter(well, maybe the lounge)

I could take some time off and make a road trip out of it. Once the date starts getting closer we should start a thread where people can confirm if they are definitely going or not and try to coordinate things.

Arg...I'd need a license. Unless I caught a bus or something. Dunno how much my mother'd approve of that though.
Maybe someone from DV could videotape it and put it on the website for those of us who can't go?

Sounds interesting, just wish there was more of an outline of the event. 9 to 5 seems pretty long for just a lecture.

Maybe instead of seats we'll all get a small cot to lay in! Could you imagine? He'll lecture, put us all to sleep for about 5 hours, then we'll all get up and share our LDs.....

I like the idea of videotaping. We would have to get permission to put it on the website though and do some serious compression in a couple of different formats.

Alas, we poor souls on dialup would still have problems though.

You know I'm down...although I'm more interested in meeting up with you folks, moreso than attending that seminar.

Maybe we could all rendezvous somewhere (like a particular hotel) and do some sight seeing around DC and then hit some of the club(s) that evening.
