Interesting thread title eh?

I've noticed something.

Self-described heterosexual women/girls are very much attracted to boys that look feminine.

The above guys could be described as "pretty". While the gentlemen below could be described as "handsome"

I guess my point is why do supposed heterosexual women/girls like gentlemen who so much resemble themselves? Do they feel like they are getting the best of both worlds? Feminine kind of pretty but still have a penis to get the job done..

Is every girl that's attracted to gentlemen like the ones listed in the first bit.. really just attracted to women?

I'm just picking on girls really because it's more noticeable among girls (this look like a girl look being hot amongst supposed straight females), whereas tomboyish dressing and looks are more accepted.

Ladies, I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Alright, all joking aside, I just don't think muscular men are very attractive.
I know many girls who would disagree though, I like more feminine looking guys because they seem more gentle, which I like; with buff guys, they look very intimidating....some girls like that though.

Since you are attracted to guys who look feminine, do you think it's the men you are attracted to or the feminine qualities about them? If it's the latter, what's stopping you from flat out being attracted to women?

well I must admit, I do like sensitive guys, one of my favorite qualities. I think its less of the looks, but more of the personality.
If you see a shy feminine looking guy, compared to a juicehead, you could assume the personality of each just by looks. But thats stereotyping which isn't always true.
If there was a guy that wasn't feminine looking, but still a good personality, I wouldn't not date him just because of the looks.
I just find that I am attracted to cuter looking guys, opposed to sexy ones....probably because of the stigma incorporated with each.

also, the only guy i am attracted to in your post is the 5th picture, he's not TOO feminine though.
so I wouldn't say completely feminine guys, just more subtle features.

Reversing this, this would be equal to me saying I am more attracted to "manlier" girls who hold more manly qualities than feminine qualities.. especially in the looks department.. short hair.. no dresses.. typical boy swagger.. tomboyish etc. Would being attracted to that be an indicator that perhaps I am bisexual, or homosexual?

Presupposing the answer is yes, and putting this back in perspective as it relates to you.. would you, being more attracted to feminine traits and looks in a man as opposed to typical manly traits and looks in a guy, say that perhaps you may be somewhat bisexual or homosexual? I am not joking or intending to offend. That was the purpose of this thread.

I think erible hit the nail on the on the head, it's probably because people associate certain personality traits with physical traits. I don't think bisexuality or homosexuality has anything to do with it, they just assume person X will be act or behave a certain way based on their appearance. I'm guessing that's the main reasoning behind it although I'm sure there more to it than that.

we're so accepting of the idea that these people are males that look like females. and there are females that look like males. and we make such a huge fuss over it when they're all just fucking people. they're just people.

I don't address myself as bisexual or homosexual, because I am not physically attracted to girls. It's more of the emotional part I am attracted to in guys. Which you don't typically see in more buff men.
When I see a buff guy flaunting around acting like he's so sexy, I see someone who is more conceited in there looks and physical appearance...same thing could go with girls who wear pounds of makeup, breast implants, etc.

I know the 2nd picture is pretty exaggerated, but people are like that

looks usually can tell to SOME level how a person is on the inside, even if its just a tiny hint.

what useful things are you looking for? interesting ideas on why some females prefer the attributes they do? overarching generalizing thoughts on what makes society more "feminine?" bullshit studies on percentages of women that like men that look like women that also like men?

I meant my responding to you in this thread. We're done, you and I. Nothing personal. I was interested in hearing the ladies pov anyway as to why they may be attracted to feminine looking boys/men and do they believe that they may indeed be bisexual at the very least for their attraction to feminine looks/qualities in men. An idea they may not be willing to explore but one I'm curious about. I'm not assuming that they are, I'm merely curious as to whether they may think this attraction bears any homosexual significance..
