I mashed the words "Evolve" and "Entity" together. I wanted a username that I wouldn't out-grow, so I made its meaning very general. I think all of us are sentient beings who eternally change. New experiences, new thoughts, new actions, new identities. To me it represents individual development, following and making the ethical path. We are evolving entities and I think it's nice to point out the beauty in this concept.

My uncles friend who im super jealous about is the bassist of trivium. So I took a couple friends to mayhem fest in july, and we got backstage passes, and hung out with all the bands and we went out and moshed, crowdsurfed in the pits. And yeah, look them up, there asain death metal band Xd

Ok, I'm gonna go ahead and give the actual story for mine.

It's the name of my blog where I talk about my animation/filmmaking adventures. I believe when it comes to lighting where you place shadows is just as important as where you place light - if not actually more so. And I love the look of lighted forms emerging from darkness, as in chiaroscuro paintings by some of the old masters.

Darkness represents mystery - the unknown - the Shadow. To me it doesn't represent evil as it does to most in this Christian-influenced society.

This belief also carries over into my storytelling concepts... I love dark stories that also contain great joy - without the one the other is worthless. Light is like gold... in scarcity it becomes more valuable.

Reminds me of a guy I knew in the army whos last name was Major. Funny thing was that his rank was captain so he was Captain Major. It confused hell lot of people.

I was watching the Transformers cartoon just a few minutes before I made my username.

While thinking of a username to choose, I thought back to what Ive just watched,
"So many unique character names! Which one should I pick!?" (If you're familiar with this cartoon, you should know)

It came down to "Galvatron" in the end.
