That sentence pretty much sums up my views.

In very short, I was pretty much just saying animal testing sucks, but we're going to do it anyway because most people feel we are more important than animals, and if we don't, we still feel like that's one of the only ways to ensure our safety in such things.

I'm sorry for saying it so very drawn out and pretentiously. I was sitting in English class at the time, that's really probably why. I hadn't gotten out of my "snooty English essay writing mode".
