And about high school, its moving to the genre of 'just be yourself' which people are interpreting that the wrong way and its doin bad.

I changed it back because I wasn't sure if the scary looking lady was even a lady.

Thanks. I really hated myself for a while. I wasn't exactly the world's most subtle gay basher, I would tell everyone. Including my cousin's cousin who is a very close friend of mine who also eventually came out of the closet. He hid it from me for a while for obvious reasons, but once I found out I knew I wasn't a gay basher, I didn't look at him any differently. He told me it killed him, he was afraid to tell me. He wasn't afraid I would beat the f*ck out of him but that I would reject him. Anyways since then I have never gone with the flow (probably the reason a lot of people think I'm a "freak" ). Since then I never go with the flow, unless of course it is something I agree with.

adroid is being serious, i live in Greece too, (im from america, my dad is just working here for the Olympics now) and anyway, the Greeks use the word 'racist' to describe any prejudiceness. in fact the word in greek describes that...so yah!

This is where i come in and argue...

The definition of 'marriage' is as followed: (as adapted from www.dictionary.com)

a) The legal union of a man and woman as husband and wife.
B) The state of being married; wedlock.
c) A common-law marriage.
d) A union between two persons having the customary but usually not the legal force of marriage: a same-sex marriage.



So, if a marriage is the bonding of two people of the opposite sex, how can two men/women get 'married'. 'they' should come up with a new term, such as life partners or something like that.

They shouldn't have to come up with a new term. That's ridiculous. Honestly, is it really such a big issue if two men or two women marry? I mean, think about it. Who is it hurting? Whose toes are they stepping on?

I want to punch Bush in his monkey face for making such a big deal out of it. I mean, seriously, don't people have better things to worry about than ruining the happiness of two people in love? Argh!

This isn't about the definition of the word "marriage" so much as it is about the actual union. Homosexual 'marriages,' technically outside the traditional definition of marriage, deserve the same legal recognition and the same benefits and the same TREATMENT - FAIR. Love is love no matter which two people it is, and while those who are strongly religious or conservative and traditional may have a hard time wrapping their minds around it, think for a minute. How would you like it if someone told you that you couldn't actually MARRY the person that you love because they're the same sex as you?

I don't think we should have to change the word at all.. the word marriage, as it is, provides a sufficient term for it. Also, changing the term would indicate lesser importance/lesser benefits than a heterosexual marriage.
