I don't agree!! People's lives are controlled by them alone, & it is their choice if they want their lives to be crappy (whether they are beat up or not!)...& also, I actually tolerated the aftermath of getting my wisdom teeth out....& was almost fully healed in 2 days (blasted dry sockets), & I choose to ignore stuff like pain!!

he is doing good...no swelling either...I think those vicodin are affecting his typing skills though

You guys are lucky...I have that middle eastern skin so I bet I'll swell up like a ballon. I always swell and bruise so easily.

well, it's possible that eventually no one will i guess. we're all still evolving, and we no longer need the extra teeth (because we generally don't eat as tough of food as we once did). it makes sense to see the gradual change, but my problem is this: evolution comes from the classic "survival of the fittest," which defines traits that will continue, and traits that will become extinct. since those with wisdom teeth, and those without, have essentially the same chances of surviving and reproducing, might they never really disappear? certainly having them removed via surgery doesn't alter one's DNA, so that has nothing to do with an inheritable trait.

btw, wisdom teeth are the problem they are because our mouths have gotten smaller than they used to be.
Each new day is a chance to turn it all around.

Cheeks, too! B/c if they didn't remove mine when they did, the teeth would have grown right out of my cheeks!!

Why do they always have to poke teeth with big metal instruments, I guess that anybody who wants to be a dentist is probably a sadist.
