Study small-joint manipulation.

When you put a guy that's a foot taller than you on the ground with just your finger and thumb, and keep him there until he stammers an apology in front of his buddies - well - they all learn an object lesson.

I recommend a self defense course or two prior to that just in case he decides to show his lack of appreciation of the event later. I've actually never had a guy flip-out later. And it seems to attract qualified suiters more than it repels them, believe it or not.

Small joint manipulation is terribly effective though... (I teach a women's self-defense class once a quarter at the community center here. )
