      Driven to Drive Crazy

I thought this would be a rather fun and interesting post.

Earlier today, these moron teenagers in what was probably their rich parents' SUV, drove around me while I was reading in a park (I was in my car) They did all these stupid "stunts" and even parked next to me and revved their engine loudly over and over again, and my window was open. They eventually left, and I noticed I was really annoyed. Here comes the good part.

I put down my book, and trotted my car toward them at increased speed, I had to catch up by a block. I wanted to give them a taste of their own medicine, and began tailgating like crazy. They accelerated fast at every stop sign and light, and stopped pretty fast, they looked like a lousy pair of drivers. I drove to the far side of the lane so I could see the car in front of them, so I can judge how to torque my car closely without hitting them. I tortured them for 3 blocks or so, they were losing stability of their car when I faked to the side to get out of the area and on my way back home.

The moral of the story is, if you are cocky about your driving, and try to annoy me, I will punish you.

man you could've done that in your driveway (reading in your car). If you got to the park to read, you have to at least get out of the car and go in the park.

It's rather difficult to bring a subsandwich+chips+soda+heavy book when going to the park. It was getting rather late and cold to get out, and plus I liked the vibe at the park, so I just read for a few minutes there. Didn't plan on staying long actually.

Hanging out in a car in the driveway is one of the saddest things to do, unless you got a pretty good reason....no, I don't do that

I sure wish I could drive... A fun thing to do would be to have hydraulics/pnumatics in your car, so when driving down the road and a tailgater came up then you could lightly tap your brakes(to make the lights go on), and with the hydraulics make your car slowly lean forward, making the tailgater think you are slowing.

As I am too young to drive, the only real driving experience I have is with golfcarts at a golfcart lot a few months back, and that was kickass. I was pullin about 40 kph and nearly rolled sideways on the turns. :heh: I can't wait till my grandma gets a golf cart, if ever.

      Mhmm....
...as fun as pissing off an annoying driver may be....
...these are the kinds of actions that get people in California shot in the face on the highway.

Its all fun and games until you find out what kind of person you're actually dealing with.

What is that a scare tactic?

I wasn't so much doing it for fun as much as getting them back. I could have been, though.

"It's all fun and games until you find out what kind of person you're dealing with" Who was the victim in this case? They shouldn't have dealt with me, I got hella pissed. They were the ones who thought they were having fun, I just got hella annoyed and hopefully made them think that's what would happen if they messed with random people again.

A scare tactic? Not at all.

Honestly, I may be reading too far into things, as I just realized you said that these were teenagers you were dealing with, but I'm simply hoping you keep in mind that the lesson you were trying to teach these teenagers actually works Both ways.
It's just that I've heard of, and been involved in, too many road rage incidents that spiraled out of control because each participant was taking the "this is what happens when you mess with me" role. This subject usually strikes a chord with me, for that reason. So, while I think that what you did was justified, I just hope you realize that some times it is just best to let petty shit slide because its not always worth what could happen if whoever you're 'getting back at' turns out to be just as vindicative, or moreso, than you. Of course, this is a little less likely, understanding now that these were teenagers, but it is no less possible.
But I suppose I withdraw the reply, having thought this was more of a role-reversed situation.

      CARRY ON!!

      Oh gee. No, that's ok.

I myself was a little apprehensive when doing it, but I had some much sensitivity to being irritated, and just took a chance. It's not like it's habit, and I probably stooped low, but at a time like that, it didn't really matter. Don't have to agree with me
