anyone know how to post a pic in a private message?

I tried copying and pasting into the bar that pops up asking you for the URL. I tried iton my iphone and on a laptop and neither worked. I also tried dragging the image into the text box on the laptop and I tried just typing in the title below the picture (IMG_1294). If anyone knows how to do this it would be helpful. Please really dumb it down for me too. Thanks

You can post your pic to Imgur or another hosting site, then post here the link they will provide with [img] tags.

Hi, I created an imgur account then tapped the image and choose the (copy) option. I then tried pasting to the URL box that comes up when you click on the photo icon and I tried pasting into the text box. Each had the same result. The link info is posted but no actual link you can click on comes up. They would have to copy and paste into the browser. Isn't there a way to post an actual image? I've seen posts with images here before. I wish I was more tech savy��

When you upload or drag/drop a picture from your computer to Imgur, it will show up in a grid of all your other pictures. If you left click on individual picture, it will show up on a separate page. Here on the right side you will see bunch of links. Pick one that says BBCode (message boards & forums). Click on the link under this and copy it. It starts and ends with [img] tags. Come to the forum, make your post and simply paste the link you copied on Imgur. No need to open anything here on the forum such as a text box or URL link icon, just paste as another line in your post. While you typing your post, it will look like this [img] http://i.imgur.com/Z8vhceT.jpg [/img]. But after you click on Post quick reply, it will show up as a picture. You can check if you did it right by clicking on Go advanced before you post. It will show you the preview of your post how it will look like exactly if you posted.
