Look for synonyms that are very similar to the less-used word in Spanish, or the only word (that I know) in Portuguese

Ok, made it to #19 in the last 10 mins. That's where I'm at now. I may have to take a break in a few and go find some food. . . Haven't had time to eat today.

Where's ExNine? I bet he'd be good at this too!

Anyone get #19 yet? I understand the principle. I plug it into the converter and all. But none of the answers seem to be correct... Nevermind. On to 20!

      Ynot: Where are you at?

#22 was stoooopid. Dorks. But not as stupid as #23.

Come on people... You all suckered me into this. Where's the contribution? Should I wait for ya'll to catch up?

I guessed #26 first-shot. "in the end" was a funny clue.

Oh, and light/dark... Those are easy ones.

I lost my I'Net connection, so I lost some hours, but I finished to #32. I'm off to bed now.

I don't want to hear about the brain from someone that doesn't have one.
Nor do I want to hear about evolution from someone that hasn't evolved.

need more hinting? Hmmm - so what's the word for scalpel in Portuguese? That's not the answer. But it's close enough a dictionary or decent thesaurus will get you there from here.

Kim, I wasn't exactly prepared yet to waste four days of my life. But tonight is the start of Thanksgiving break, so this is the perfect time to do just that.

Ugh. Now I'm going to have to use IE.

I never would've found #5 without the hints. Thanks guys.

I really hate to say this, but on some of these you have to make yourself kind of dumb in order to get it.

Like for #14? Pretend you don't know what a square is. Yeah, you heard me. Or at least ignore what the properties of a square are. That's right, the clue says "square properties" and you have a much better chance if you ignore what the properties of a square are.

And that one was about math! That makes me kind of mad!

Maybe I just never learned how to have fun playing dumb? I suppose it's possible.

Alright, I'm at #21 and the clue is "slumber..." and "residues" and I thought of "rest," but that's not it. But now I want to take a rest.

Don't worry, I'll get you, Kim.

      Whaaaat?

I was stuck on number 5 for ages. I have no shame in cheating

But what the heck was that supposed to mean? Puzzles are supposed to have answers that seem glaringly obvious once you've found them, not answers which are words you haven't even heard of.

Now I am stuck on number 8.

      >> right, the clue says "square properties" and you have a much better

Actually, that clue makes perfect sense, Ex. I should probably IM or PM you as to why though. But if you take it rather literally - square the properties, it makes sense.

Which one was #8 again? Pic/hints

I'm on #33, but haven't had any time. Tomorrow should be a short day.

General tip: If you're stuck, open up a text editor and just start writing stuff that you find odd about the picture. Anything and everything. Ask questions. "What does this have to do with that?" and "What happens to make that?" and "What does this remind me of?" and then even "What does that futher remind me of?" If the clue says "cartoon," what are some cartoons you immediately think of? Cartoon characters? Write some out and just keep the list there for reference while you write about other odd things after that.

This has helped me immensely in these later ones. I actually posted here asking for hints a few times, and then found the answer right away and deleted the post. Write it out in complete sentences. Pretend like you're writing a letter to someone smart. You don't want to look stupid in front of them, so make your questions detailed and straight, showing that you've considered the question on your own.

The person you write to will end up being you.

      number 8.

I'll probably get it once I've cleared my brain out. Stresssssy. Shouldn't really be making myself think about extra things!

The tag says "shouldbehere," and the setting is a city street. So, what should be on a city street?

I think I'm thinking too hard on 11...I'm trying to think of it inverted, and I'm still not coming up with anything worthwhile.

The clue is "even if you invert..." In most image editing programs, "inverting" an image doesn't mean turning it upside down, but switching all of its colors to their counterpart on the opposite end of the spectrum. One characteristic is that lighter colors become darker colors and vice versa. So, "even if you invert" this image, what stays the same?

If your answer is at all like my first guess, you need to weigh your other options. ( a big clue buried in that statement)

I don't want to hear about the brain from someone that doesn't have one.
Nor do I want to hear about evolution from someone that hasn't evolved.

I got number 11 eventually, but the hints given with it really aren't helpful. At all.

Kimpossible's hint is helpful... as part of the word which is the answer.

I put the thing in photoshop and inverted it. Which didn't help either. I started trying loads of stuff about the concrete staying grey.

Having problems with number 12 now! Am I going to get stuck on every single one?

On number 11, make sure your spelling is correct as well. That first part of the compound word is frequently misspelled.

Well, I got one and two easily, three after the "rollover" hint that Kim gave (thanks). I got four on the first try. Currently on five, waiting to go back to school.
