You think that's a hectic schedule. Wait till you get to college. You'll pray to be back in high school. Trust someone who has 4 finals in the next 6 days worth 65% each, enjoy it before it's gone.

I too am half way through my high school year also and I am in college and high school at the same time. Actually, the only part that is hard is commiting yourself to the work. The work isn't hard...You just end up spending a lot of time that you would have normally spend being lazy or something. If you work hard though, you can have the weekend for whatever you want.

As for only highschool...That shit is a piece of cake. You can do it. Think of how many people before you have.

I wouldn't go back to high school if someone paid me! High school is filled with so much useless crap: work that is not necessary to survive in the 'real world', the social ineptitude of teachers and peers, the pressure to be popular and smart... ugh. I hated it. Maybe times have changed, but I used to get picked on a lot for being the quiet girl who dressed like a hippy and sat in the back of the class reading a book or sketching. My two favorite classes were writing and art, and both of those teachers told me I sucked. Despite this, I am partnered with an amazing person, and we are in the middle of a major creative project that has great potential to be successful. So to Mr. Marshall and Ms. Curtis: Fuck you.

I would, however, like to attend college. I would love to study things that actually interest me and will benefit my life in some way. Too bad it's well beyond what the stupid hippy can afford.

Anyway, to you high school students who are working so hard: Good luck to you. But don't rely on just your book smarts. Think with your heart as well and you'll be fine.

... wow, I got a little ranty. Sorry about that. :sweat1:

im about half way through my last year and yeah its hard, but when something gets anooyingly hard i think "balls to that i cant be arsed'

im too big for high school now and i cant wait to leave because ive got nothing to show for the years ive been at this "school" and it seems pointless to finish the rest of this year.

college will be well better than this, 4 day weekends and i can get paid to go, id be stupid not to.

the hard part is the get through the rest of this last year without screwing something up ot knifing someone

Moving out into the world is really pretty cool. If you're doing the dorm, you don't have to worry about food or much cleaning, so things are pretty cool. The amount of freedom is really pretty nice, especially if you go out an meet some cool people to hang out with. Sure, there's more studying, but there's less class. It's really not too bad. You will have to set priorities for what you do, though. I'd love to be home working on my car, which hasn't been running great lately, but I just don't have the time. Your outlook on what's worth the time will probably change a bit.

And if you think highschool is expensive, wait till college. I think I spent as much on books for my first quarter as I did on just about everything my whole senior year, save for a couple of big purchases. Used textbooks are good...
Well life is short, so love the one ya' got, 'cause you might get run over or you might get shot.

Last time I checked, there was no tuition for public high school....

Try working a job as well as getting to school! well...it helps the guilty conscience from having to ask parents for money to buy what you want.

Aye, those are EASY. Just wait until you get to college, the AS levels are so much arder than yours. On average in a week I get more work than I used to in a month.

God... it's supposed to be way harder when you get to uni.
