      In & Out

      Hey guys, thought I'd just post to let you know that my visits may be a bit more spread out for the next few days. Mum's mad, so she keeps stealing the modem so I can't get online. Yeah. Well, I still can get on at school, though it's limited, and occassionally at a friend's house, but that probably won't be exactly regular either. Luckily, I've got enough money to buy me a new modem or maybe a wireless chip for my computer upstairs, so things should be stabilizing soon. For the moment though, I'll be more or less on vacation.

      Heh, guess what. Yeah, it happened again. I installed a wireless card into the computer in my room so I could get online easier, but my mom found out and got all pissy again. So, she's taken away the wireless gateway and I can't get online. Although, I just noticed that my neighbor has a wireless connection...it's a tad bit weak, but I think I can get the WEP code from them and be back online. Anyway, I'll let you know when everything's all cleaned up again.

      Heh, looks like things MAY be clearing up again soon. Bad news: Mom's probably throwing out our high-speed connection including the wireless gateway in the basement. BUT I've got one neighbor with wireless who's WEP code I can get, and another neighbor who's wireless is only working once in a while (reception is crappy) but doesn't have any security in place. I should be able to get connected fairly regularly through one or the other, but we'll have to see.

      holy crap i thought my mom was the only one that threw away expensive electronics...

      she called t-mobile and disabled my sidekick so i couldnt look at russian brides under my covers late at night


      i got her social security number and passcodes and everything i need to reactivate it but i just need a dishonest adult to make the call (my voice doesnt sound old enough)

      Officially taken care of. Thanks to my good friend Air Snort, I've got access to three wireless networks in the area, plus the basement one whenever it's there. Things should run smoothly from here on out.
