You don't want obscure Greek and Latin Medical terms. Think about the impact on Marketing -- nerds that would understand don't buy what you are selling. You need to address the people who do buy what you are selling, and they don't know greek or latin from shitola.

umm it's a trance project, leo... who would buy it if not nerds? Music to squirt by is good though!

Coming up with a band name is pretty easy. try these:

tron2000- just take your first name and add "tron" to the end, maybe some numbers for good measure.
e.g: TylerTron, RussellTron 2000, etc etc

experiment/project - Take a significant noun and put it in the form "The [noun] project/ experiment." Avoid random things like 'hotdog' or 'face eating,' but obscurity can be good.
e.g: The Ted Koppel Experiment, The FeelMore Project, etc etc

some general suggestions:
The krypton krisis, Horizon Radar, sonic boob, View to a Thrill, Life and Meth

My band is called Dangeruss and the SuperVillans. Pun on my name and my friend's name. Puns make the best band names I think. That's probably just me, though.

I, too, make and play electronic music with a friend under the name 'SolSkye', here in Japan. I would say, that in order to name the song properly you would first need an overall theme for the song that you created, and I would have to hear the song in order to help you properly name it.

Since you are making a trance song I would hope you generally have an idea in mind when you made it or something it brought to the forefront of your mind, imagewise.


I assume you know the producing leaders out there...
Examples:

Solid Globe- Seven Cities, Lost Cities, Sahara, North Pole (notice a pattern?)
Oceanlab- Clear Blue Water, Sirens of the Sea (again?)
Ferry Corsten- Kyoto (hear it and you'll know why its named that)

and one of my all-time favorites (aptly titled mind you)...

The Thrillseekers- Synaesthesia
