actually, it helped me alot when I finally downloaded mIRC

explained what I needed to do, what to put for the channel and server and yadda

I didn't know there was any type of set-up required - the first time I used it, I just clicked the link, typed in my name and joined...

for mIRC? There is somewhat of a setup required. After the installation, you have to input a name, email address (which both can be faked because they are unneccessary) and a nickname.

After that, things like server and autoperform.

IRC is at an all-time low right now
