Why do you think such a small amount of people join? As said above, AfterNET "regulates connections" from every country aside from perhaps the one it was created in. I can&#39;t enter without registering and I&#39;m surely not planning to register on AfterNET (though even that might not help the situation). Very likely that others have the same problem - Dream Views is a very multi-national community, heh.

P.S. XChat and Linux are the obvious choice but if you don&#39;t feel like it then cracked mIRC is the second obvious choice.

Well the IRC server is just fine for me. I&#39;m using AOL, the pit of moral depravity banned on every other IRC, so there shouldn&#39;t be too much of a problem. Unless you&#39;re connecting from France. Now that&#39;s moral depravity.

right well I haven&#39;t had any problems but if darkmyst works better then it&#39;s not too big an issue just to switch it over. just go into chat and lure everyone over to the darkmyst server, then announce the server change here.

More chat deprived. I&#39;ve been trying to figure out all the errors with it, its just a big error.

irc://irc.darkmyst.org/dreamviews (shame it doesn&#39;t become clickable, but those with a decent IRC client should be able to paste that into their address bar - it should activate then).

I think you can just do the following:

1. Open your IRC client of choice.
2. Type /server irc.darkmyst.org
3. Let it connect.
4. Type /join #dreamviews
5. PROFIT

Alternatively, if you&#39;re lucky, copy and paste this url into your address bar:
irc://irc.darkmyst.org/dreamviews
And your IRC client should handle the rest. Firefox may give a warning.
