Thread: Who Knows Famous People?

I met Tom Baker, one of the doctor who's and met Lorraine Kelly (some celebrity presenter in England). Not too exciting though.

The only people who will know who I am talking about here will be British people.

My cousin was once good friends and in the same choir (hehehe) with Garath Gates.

mostly english stuff here, but

James Bourne (Busted & son of Dork) went to my primary school - couple of years below me

Gary Brooker (Pocal Harem) went to my senior school

Saw Liam Howlett (The Prodigy) in a supermarket once

My grandad's (mother's side) grandfather (direct line) was the first person whose death was officially attributed to CJD

and while not "famous people"
however I once broke down at a major junction in the east end of London
and made the national traffic news

my dads boss played golf with toby kieth once

yah I saw Ronald McDonald. no kidding.

A lot of local celebrities bring their cats to the hospital where I work, including news anchors, Detroit Red Wings star players, etc., which is pretty cool.

Also, the hospital's manager's nephew is Dax Shepard from the movie "Without a Paddle" with Ashton Kutcher, and some other lesser-known movies.

I talked to the president of the American Atheists Org. through email.

i have physics class with the director, wes craven's, nephew. he's wierd

i saw dan marino at the ice arena once. he was taking an elevator up and i saw some nascar driver at the bowling alley.

Oh! and i have literature class with the drummer of the beagie's son. who is also wierd

Oh, and I made out with the bassist from Sugar Ray, Murphy Karges. Ha ha! I just remembered that. Sugar Ray, oh my god. I was so in love with Mark McGrath. That's hilarious. I can't believe I'm admitting this.

Oh! And when I was working the drive thru when I worked at McDonalds, Dustin Hoffman came through and I served him his food and asked if he was Dustin Hoffman and he said yes and.......that's it.

I went to the place where Hogwarts was filmed, does that count?

My dad is good friends with former NHL referee Lance Roberts.

I saw Renee Zellweger at a White Stripes concert (she was dating Jack White at the time)

I saw Iggy Pop at a Raconteurs show in Ann Arbor.

Oh and I was picked to be on a national radio show when I was in grade 2, got to meet Robert Munch (kids book author).

Had to pay for the food though , but yeah it was good, had all these paintings of teachers and the tables are the same as in the movie. The hall is massive as well.

My best friend&#39;s uncle is Kevin Klein...though I never met him.

But I met Til Lindemann after a Ramms+ein concert and I got to feel him up a little

Oh ya, Gerard t&#39;Hooft replied to my email one time just to give me some encouragement, he didn&#39;t have much to say, I&#39;m sure he&#39;s busy as hell.

He won the nobel prize in physics, forgot what year.

about 2 years ago i smoked jane with Pastor Troy when he came to atlanta, ga.
Apparently we smoked the same stuff, and when HIS sub-dealer ran out, he went to my sub-dealer. We were chillin out on the front porch when my dealer got a call from his friend, saying Pastor troy needed directions to his house. He came and good times were had by all.

*Pastor troy is a rapper from ATL. Although hes really not THAT famous, it was still kind of fun.

Kevin Covais, Yea the little kid from american idol. Hes my bartenders cousin. Hes a little twerp, he refused to drink with me at his cousins 4th of july party.

I cant think of any others right now but i know there are more.
