There have been so many times during my life were girls have been rude, uncaring and mean to me. I dont think all or them are this way but the way ive seen it, girls are alot meaner then guys atleast they are to me.
My best friend was a girl but she didnt like me because I wasent popular and she even told me this, and that was the only reason she stopped being my friend. There are many other girls who hate me for my social disabilities they dont want me to sit next to them, and they tease me. I told one girl i liked her and she said she hates me because of the way i smell which i think is rediculous. and when I was in elementary 2 older girls beat me up for no reason. however guys have almost always been kind to me.
I know lots of people feel that guys are more insensitive but I think it can be seen both ways depending on what kind of person you are.

I think that these girls are just rather immature. There are some like that at my school, and they were like that since primary. Some girls (and only the minority, I'm not blaming the other girls in any way) still don't like to dance with guys or hold hands. Usually this stereotype of girls being sensitive and boys being insensitive is complete hoohah. For example, I'm really sensitive, emotional and empathising. I can't see someone else cry without almost crying myself. It's just rather unfortunate that those kinds of girls are at your school. Just try to ignore them as well as you can and you should get on okay.

You've just had some bad luck or know the wrong people. Just remember everyone is different, look at the girls on DV, they are all nice.
As Neko said just ignore them.

Sounds like you're surrounded by a bunch self absorbed brats. Best to just ignore them if possible. They're not even worth wasting your breath on if they act in such an atrocious manner.

Guys can act the same. Some people are just asses, plain and simple no matter what their gender. You sound like a nice guy. Try find some like people to hang with.

there are 3 types of girls

ugly girls
you want to avoid these where-ever possible
very clingy and prone to emotional outbursts about being fat

pretty girls who know they're pretty
Again, you want to avoid these
every guy goes after them - I'm sure it gets very boring
because of this, they will hurt you for pleasure

Pretty girls who don't know they're pretty
These are the best kind

They're not insensitive. In fact, they're very sensitive to your emotions.

Because of this, they know exactly where to hit.

ok i will try to ignore them. I hope you people are right that most girls arnt like that, I guess Im just unlucky. there are some girls who are really nice to me, but I dont want them to have to low of self esteem, I like confidence in a girl, but not so much that she is so into herself, although it does seem that the most romantic ones have low self esteem. I still love women even though they can be mean.

Thanks to you all for your advice

many girls, as well as many guys, are, in fact, self absorbed. They go through life without ever wanting anything except popularity and acceptance. It sickens me. They will sacrifice their best friends to gain the approval of others, and will tourment others to gain popularity as well.

I, myself, have never really had this problem. I ALWAYS hang out with people that will NEVER judge me. In my group, we have all sorts of people, including \"smart\" people (nerds), a karate kid (black belt), stoners, fraternity members, sorority members, and people like me (who enjoy nothing but having fun). None of us bother eachother for what we do.

I suggest you hang out with people that are like this. I spent MUCH of my life trying to get in with this \"popular crowd\", while keeping the friends that would never tourment me. My attempts were fruitless.

JUST DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY, AND A GIRL WITH COMMON INTERESTS WILL CONNECT WITH YOU. It is just natural, or \"fate\", if you will. It worked for me in the past, even though it ended up giving me a broken heart.

Fuck all those people. They are zombies, and they know NOTHING of true emotion or human responsibility. They rest their happiness on the views of others. They know NOTHING of the beauty in life.

Who cares if the chicks you hang out with are \"ugly\". What is beauty anyway? Beauty is in the EYE OF THE BEHOLDER. Not what others tell you.

Only when you hang with people you can relate to will you be truely happen. This is EXACTLY why i didnt join a fraternity. They are shallow, dry, self absorbed people. Stay away from them

Sounds horrible. From what I've seen and somewhat I've experience, girls are much much more insensitive than guys. I don't know who told you that, but they need to get out more often. The main difference is that guys fight with fists and girls fight with words, which can be much more hurtful in the long run. I've personally witnessed fights in which the two guys fight, and then become friends/respect each other afterwards. Guys throw it down, and put it out of the way. Girls on the other hand will hold a grudge their whole time in middle school, high school, or life. Its ridiculous.

Girls seem to be much more insecure than guys as well (no sexism implied). They ask how they look all the time, they fish for compliments, and they will ignore someone just for the hopes of just being more popular (like you said). A way for them to help themselves with their insecurity, they'll put people down to make themselves look better. Guys don't usually have a problem with stuff like that because if they do, they tustle

I've personally had experience where a girl has told me that she is more important that me. I looked her in the eyes and told her to **** off and she well deserved it. I can't stand people like that. If I'm in the hallways and I see a kid being picked on, I'll stand up for him regardless of the size of the other guy. I'm not a nerd/loser at my school, but the majority of my school is full of jocks and assholes. I'm not friends with any of those guys because I can't stand being around them. I'm beginning to get off topic a bit..

Hope this helped you out a bit.

Ya, dude. Just don't take it personal. Popular girls are total assholes because they are trying to make themselves stand out from the other popular girls. I don't think I could ever stand to date someone like that or be around them for an extended period of time.

It might sound cliche, but they are completely fake and will do whatever their clique of friends or MTV tells them to do. They want to stay popular at all costs.

On occasion stand up for yourself and tell and tell um to **** off. Make sure you don't go overboard with it though because then you'll sound like a hateful butthead and no one will want to hang out with you. They may not like you, but they sure as hell will respect you. So will the guys.

When you grow up, you look back and realize that none of that shit should have mattered to you as much as you let it. I really wish I knew then, what I know now.

It's not gender specific, it's just the people you happen to have encountered.

Girls can be huge, Huge bitches. Man can be assholes, but atleast they are honest about it. Women are back-stabbers.

Still, they have boobs. Those win the argument.

It's goes the same both ways. I don't like to put down anyone, but as far as my observations go, a girl can be just as cruel to a guy by using her words as a guy can be cruel to a girl by not doing anything.

As far as a girl being insecure, sure there are a lot of them, but it doesn't help them when people avoid them for it. It just confirms their suspicions. You shouldn't pander to their every need and lavish undue praise upon them, but at the same time don't encourage those negative thoughts. If you do, you'll just start them thinking about what else is wrong with them. (This could be a whole topic in and of itself.)

You may disagree, but I think that C.S. Lewis was right in saying, "You are a soul. You have a body." Your body doesn't/shouldn't define who you are.

that is a great quote but gender is more in the brain then in the body, and we cant always help the way the brain processes things

I liked my old sage advice. I said it because it sounded good, not because it was actually great advice of any sort (hey, I don't get paid for this so I'm allowed a little leeway) but I still think Aquanina just got it right there:

Yeah well girls hardly ever talk to me voluntarily, unless they need to borrow something or have some homework question or something of the sort. I think nothing of, never have been a social butterfly brother.

Course they have never beat me up and the ocasional girl will hit on my or attempt to flirt with me (yes it is obvious enough for me to know).

Man just don't bother with girls till you meet one that you could actually get along with, if she will only like a guy for high school politics then thats her choice, her problem brother.

Girls only like guys who have skills, bowhunting skills, computer hacking skills, numchuck skills.

In the end, everyone's the same. It's just media stereotypes that mess up the world. Karl Marx was right.
