That has to be scary as all fuck. All I'm imaging is opening the box in curiousity, not quite making out what's inside, and then making out the object--seeing the lifeless eyes and deteriorating base of the head. Hopefully the person responsible is caught quickly and given some form of therapy/help. Animal cruelty is often one the signs of an unstable mind, perhaps capable of murder.

Crystal opened the box and found her dog's head inside. The box also contained Valentine's Day candy.[/b] I think in this case we can safely assume that the person who did it is a sick freak.
