      That IS a good one.
      There is a similar one. I don't know how it exactly goes.
      Courage without fear is stupid. Bravery... something that though doooh> I am so tired.

      That is so true…and aggravating when you happen to be the good bearing who doesn’t squeak, and as a result becomes neglected for a job well done.

      An Ode to an Indispensable Man

      Sometime, when you're feeling important
      Sometime, when your ego's in bloom,
      Sometime, when you take it for granted
      You're the best qualified in the room;

      Sometime when you feel that your going
      Would leave an unfillable hole,
      Just follow this simple instruction
      And see how it humbles your soul.

      Take a bucket and fill it with water;
      Put your hand in it, up to the wrist.
      Pull it out, and the hole that's remaining
      Is the measure of how you'll be missed.

      You may splash all you please when you enter,
      You can stir up the water galore,
      But stop, and you'll find in a minute
      That it looks just the same as before.

      The moral is this quaint example
      Is to do the best job that you can.
      Be proud of yourself, but remember --
      There is no indispensable man.

      Yes. But a scar is considered healed.

      Really I was agreeing with you; even tho a scar is considered healed, it is a change, and you will never go back to being the how you were before. Hopefully that can be a positive thing, if the scar reminds you, without continuing to be as painful.

      I thought of the government when I read this.
      These proverbs can be taken so many ways. Anyone can relate it to his or her own life as you can take it into your own perspective and situation.
