      I was considered a nerd all through school. I did do my homework and regularly make my wife scream, often multiple times

      I also have people working under me who were part of the popular crowd.

      However, what Xaqaria said is pretty true. I think the articles would be more accurate by replacing "nerd" with, say, "quirky individual." You know, more eccentric, knowledgeable types.
