Thread: What Should I Buy?

If you have money and can't think of anything to spend it on, DON'T SPEND IT. As soon as you do, you'll realize what you really wanted to use it for.

That is indeed good advice, just shortly put.
If you don't have needs, don't spend vast resources just to spend them. Sure, it may not seem all too great at the moment to keep the money and save it up but when the moment hits (and it will hit) that requires such funds, you'll be very glad that you have them.

I can't tell you what to do with your money but I know what I'd do. Clothes! I don't know how long $3000 would last though, since last time I went to town I took £150 and came home with one shirt and a pair of jeans.

Anyways, I think the first two posters are right. You'll think of something that you really want eventually.

How about a CD? I mean a bank CD.

I'm not really a clothes guy. Yeah I guess its really pointless to spend money if I dont need to. I'm sure I'll just end up putting it into the bank.

But yeah i would like a HDTV, gonna get one for Christmas so i can enjoy Halo 3 in it's full HD glory

Like everyone else said, if you don't absolutely need anything, just save that money. Put it in the bank and make even more money off it. You always want to have a savings cushion, just in case. You may need that money someday and you'll kick yourself if you spend it on a stupid TV that you don't need.

Ah yes. The magic of HD. My friend plays halo 2 on his 360 on one of those. It is so sweet. I can just imagine how halo 3 is gonna look....

though im not great with HDTVs though...

I cos the 1080i is ment to be the best but...dependsing on your Tvs size 720p will be fine, confusing stuff.

Like people said. If you don't want anything in particular, it's better not to spend. Invest in a mutual fund or something. I've had some money in one for about half a year now and it's already given a 40% return.

If it were me I'd blow it all off on a computer and Zune, and whatever's left (granted, not a lot) gets me some new video games. But like everyone else says, you'll be better off not to spend it.

Yeah I'm not stupid with money. I already have $ invested in mutual funds. I suppose I could put more in, I just dont see the point. I've only had it for half a year, so I still wanna see what its gonna do.
