Yes, I know that even longer sentences have existed.

Nope, the post office card has a longer sentence.

EDIT: I just found it (that card from the post office). The sentence is the Privacy Act Statement. I'll take a picture and post it. I swear, the length and complexity of the sentence will boggle your mind.

I was thinking of the total word count but there's several sentences. I marked out all but the longest sentence, which is about 222 words.

What this has to do with name changes I have no idea.

I'm known for my long and verbose sentences, in which I run on and on, never slowing to smell the proverbial roses, too fond of the figurative wind in my face to pause in my continuance of rather (un)profound utterances; like a fleeting thought in the exuberant brain of a wild gazelle, the passing imaginative ideas floating through the very currents of time and space like so much metaphorical driftwood in the sea of life, as if many voices cried out in awe and were suddenly quieted by yet more amazing verbosity and not-quite-so-subtle-or-succinct wordiness and rambling thoughts, creative and astounding though they are, almost like the incredible genius inherent inside of all of us, if only it were possible for us to harness it, but, alas, such is not to be, as is proven by the existence of such morons as Al Gore, and also evidenced by such television shows as Survivor, but I digress; I was talking about lengthy, wordy sentences, wasn't I?

Do I get some sort of prize? It's only 165 words, but hey...

I think someone called Aphius created it, because he was bored of the dancing banana. I'll search for the first post it appeared in.

      EDIT: Here.

I figured it has sometime to do with Aphius. He used to be a moderator, so I guess he had power to add smileys.

I have noticed quite a few name changes recently as mentioned. Get's a bit confusing, but I think I can handle one such as "AdamA" to "Adam"

sometimes it's nice to start over. people change, people develope new interests the more they learn, and lose interest in things they were once interested in. like me, I used to be Paperdoll EP, then after awhile I requested that my name be changed to "hysteria" because it fit me more at the time. THEN, I left dv for awhile and forgot the password to that account, so I started this one, "paperdoll", figuring more people would recognize me with that name (I was a well known member at one time). I've been thinking about changing my name though lately, because "paperdoll" is so old and I've changed a lot since I chose that name. of course I don't HAVE to change it, but it is a nice feeling, once you've progressed and learned and basically moved on, to have a name that fits the way you currently feel. right?

Ignorant bliss is an oxymoron; but so is miserable truth.

That's why - as I've said before - you shouldn't choose a fad name. In other words, avoid things like your favorite band name, your favorite sports team, favorite athlete, favorite movie name, favorite video game title/character, etc...

Favorites change; your name shouldn't change with every new whim or addition to your play list.
