For me, my name used to be wasup like, 4 years ago. I wanted to have some nolstagia. Also, it's fun when none of the n00bies know who I am but all of the old/veteran members recognize me |

I just noticed that ataraxis changed his name to wasup. And I believe AdamA has changed as well. Adam didn't change very much though. |

I had my name changed not long back, i used to be lucid_seeker, to be honest i don't know why i didn't capitalize it when first making my account here, i guess i didn't expect to be here as much as i am now, so i got it capitalized and got rid of that pesky underscore to make it look a little better, Lucid Seeker seems better to me somehow, more formal. |

I was going to change my name, but then I found out it was the trendy new thing. Being a rebel, I have to go against the grain, and decided to stick with the status quo. But I might do it anyway, I'm just unpredictable like that. |

haha wasup, I thought u stole that avatar from ataraxis! No wonder u had such a huge post count wen u said glad to be here. |

There is no real-life, there is only AFK.
And we don't know
Just where our bones will rest
To dust I guess
Forgotten and absorbed into the earth below
I want to change my name before I get a steady fan base. |

I wanted to change my name into Icelandic. |

I created a new account instead of changing my name. New account, new beginning.. oh man I've used that phrase too often already. |

I wanted to change my name about two seconds after I'd registered it. |

I kind of want to change but when it's all died down, don't want to be seen jumping on the bandwagon. Either: |

It always seems so cheap to change one's username. I think that if you do you should start over unless you have a good reason for doing so. If you're only changing a letter (like Adam did) or capitalizing or removing an underscore, etc... (Lucid Seeker) then that's cool. It's the complete name change that makes things confusing for other members. |
|
That's exactly the way I feel! I actually want mine capitalized, but I would never want to change my name entirely, and like you said, it gets confusing. And I wouldn't blame the admins for not wanting to capitalize usernames because the user didn't do it the first time |

I agree. Little changes like that are okay, but we try to discourage full name changes unless there is a good, compelling reason. |

My name rox my sox, and I'll only change it if the dots ever cause encoding problems in the database. |

They put you last on the memberlist. Don't get rid of them! |

That honor would go to the card our post office sent out with some info about the US Postal Service. There's a fine-print sentence at the bottom that has (if I remember my count correctly) 263 words! Now that's a run-on. |
