15" of snow this morning!!

I was supposed to go into work to do treatments on the boarding cats this morning, but when I looked outside, the snow is up to the bumper of our 4 wheel drive Chevy! Had to have someone else cover for me. This is what I woke up to at 6:30am... If you can't read the measurement, it says 19"!! Whoaaaa. We had like a cover of maybe an inch or so of snow on the roads today, and I almost died like 5 times just driving to the grocery store around the corner. Your place must be NUTS!! Does look very pretty though. Is it the sticky kind of snow? By the way, did I hear birds chirping in that video?? What are they thinking!

I do NOT envy you trying to get around in all that! Please be careful! Yes we had to be really careful today. Not only did it snow that much overnight, but it continued to snow throughout the day and we got at least another inch! The snow plows and salt trucks just couldn't keep up. Tow trucks all over the place for people spun out or in the ditch. If I absolutely didn't have to go out, I would've just stayed in. But we Michigan drivers are used to this kinda thing, and most people know how to drive carefully in these conditions. I say "most" because you get the occasional idiot who thinks they are invincable and end up causing an accident. Does look very pretty though. Is it the sticky kind of snow? Yeah it was kinda sticky snow that made for good snowballs Red doesn't like being the target of snowballs though, lol And yeah, I heard the birds too... I guess they are hardcore Michigan birds!
