Vermont: Town passes law to arrest Bush/Cheney on sight

      http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/...-vermont_N.htm

Read the article, a town in vermont is passing a resolution to arrest and indict President Bush and Vice President Cheney if they so happen to set foot on that towns soil.

We should pass a law like this in every town in the country, so they won't be able to even set foot on U.S. Soil.

      Hooray for freedom, sorta..

its legal, compared to what HE did, hes responsible for the deaths of so many people, to me thats much more of a crime then some town in vermont passing a GOOD law

it is legal, it got passed!, i hope more towns do this, so that when he sets foot in the wrong place, hes in jail.

Read/Skimmed the article. If and when a poll comes out wondering whether we should castrate the bush administration or drown them in a pool of fecal matter...I'd vote, but I'd still be torn on which to vote on.

screw voting, lets physically remove them from office with our bare hands

/me wishes the american people grew some balls, and some BRAINS, and marched to washington, stormed the white house and the capital and place them all under arrest, every congressman every senator every politician, and we shall start a new government with ONE TERM LIMITS TO ALL PUBLIC OFFICE

im so sick and tired of seeing senators be in senate for 50 freaking years

term limits should be one-two terms for all public office local, state, and federal

too much power sits in the wrong hands for too long.

um, well he violates the constitution on a daily basis, allows torture, ignored louisiana a few years back, cheated elections, profits from war, lies to the american people, withholds information.

to me, those acts alone are punishable BY DEATH, and i dont mean lethal injection, or electric chair, or firing squad.

they should be tied to a tree, covered in blood, and get eaten alive by rabid mice and rats. THATS JUSTICE FOR ALL

or maybe thrown into a pit with angry crocs, or even better, why not find the largest anaconda on earth, so it can digest them slowly while they starve to death in a snakes belly

      the punishment fits the crime.

      His crime was being born.

Im not dumb. I say rumors or rumours or whatever they're called cause i haven't really heard much about bush. Except from the media, and everyone knows the media blows things out of proportion. And the whole torture thing, I just dont like it. Its just personal beliefs that i think we shouldn't have it.

no rumors...thats a fact. Look how willing the government is willing to investigate baseball players who used steroids. Yet, everytime Bush does something illegal, he politicizes the judicial branch even more to cover it up. The new assistant attorney general refused to investigate all that bullshit with the attorney general Alberto Gonzales. Bush thinks he is above the law and has exploited every loophole under his power to do so. A THIRD PARTY group should be responsible for investigating anything involved with the government. Something tells me the judicial branch might not pursue invesigations on the judicial branch very strongly.

um, well he violates the constitution on a daily basis, allows torture, ignored louisiana a few years back, cheated elections, profits from war, lies to the american people, withholds information.
Not to mention spying on us illegally...and knowing it was illegal. This is why he keeps threatening congress to pass immunity to the communication companies that helped him break the law. If Bush cannot spy on the country we are doomed!
Once upon a time a disciple went to his guru and asked him, 'Guru, what is life?' To which the guru replies, after much thinking, 'My Son, life is like a fountain.' The disciple is outraged. 'Is that the best you can do? Is that what you call wisdom?' 'All right,' says the guru; 'don't get excited. So maybe it's not like a fountain.'
