      Resolution value question

      I'm in a debate class and I am writing affirmative and negative cases for this resolution: When the United States is engaged in military conflict, the demands of national security ought to supercede conflicting claims of individual rights. The problem is I don't know what the value is.

      Could somebody kindly point out the value?

      NO, I did not. That was the resolution I was given by my teacher to write Affirmative and Negative cases on. I actually did type it in to google hoping to find some info, and I also stumbled across that site. Wasn't too helpful for what I need to find.
