I've had this stone ever since I was a kid, I found it when I visited Lake Michigan (Wisconsin side) on a trip. At that time, I thought it was a fossil, simply because the mark wouldn't wash off, even under intense scrubbing. It could be some sort of tribal symbol of some sort. I'm just curious. Here's the stone (an inch large): |

Looks like omega but the middle bottom is filled. That might be just a smudge or mistake but if it's not it's got to be the omega. |

Although you can't tell in that picture, light refracts differently on the symbol than the rest of the stone. |
