Well, thanks to my brother (God bless his not-so-little heart), I have joined the ranks of those laptop-toting coffee shop goers. I'm a coffee shop goer anyway, but now I can actually type up stuff and even act like a real writer!

Thanks again for the birthday wishes. You really are the b-b-best!

It's an HP something or other. I'm now in the process of figuring out the little bits and pieces of Windows Vista. It's definitely different from XP...

A lot of people will hate me for this, but once you get used to it, Vista's a lot easier to use than XP. I find it better from a users' and a network administrators' point of view.

Coolness. Yup, Vista is extremely different. I kinda like it better, but don't tell anybody, m'kay?

I was just in the Tech forum seeing if anyone had talked about it..... I won't tell.

I think I might just repay the coffee shop I used to work for by coming in there all the time and using their bandwidth. Spend $1.20, stay there for four or five hours... Beats sharing bandwidth with my family at home.

When I'm not using my sister's internet I have been known to go to our local coffee shop/ice cream parlor, the Purple Cow, get a mocha latté, and do the same.

Speaking of Vista, Windows Explorer shut down and hasn't restarted yet, from updating Adobe Acrobat... Off to Google to fix it.

      Ctrl+Alt+Delete > Task Manager

      File > New Task > explorer.exe

Adobe Updater is such a pain.

Yeah, I got it. Ctrl+Shift+Esc actually brings the Task Manager straight up. Thanks, though. Now let's let Amé get back to basking in all the well-wishes.
