Thread: US Military fire's at Iranian boats

I just read another report saying that the pentagon is preparing for military options towards iran....

We are fucked.

the economy is falling apart, the military is stretched to thin...this will only further worsen things.

Things shakey in Syria as well. Looks like we'll run out of soldiers pretty quickly now.

the world is so messed up, makes me cry sometimes, I almost cry myself to sleep thinking about the world, what its coming to.

All those animals dying and going extinct, people starving and being bombed or shot daily...

Rilla, try not to panic. Think of all those other times in the past we have faced very trying times, got through it, and now look back on it as history. Heck, to me there's nothing scarier than the Cuban Missile Crisis - the entire planet could have been wiped out in that one.

True, these times are different because of technology and the numerous overlap of issues. Somehow, though, you have to believe we'll get through it. Otherwise you'll end up with no hope (and that road leads only to the end).

Question regarding this 'insident' : what the fuck does it have to do with the price of oil!? I mean, I thought I heard that incidents like this having a direct impact on oil prices was really just a cover up for an excuse to jack the price. The destruction of refineries or oil wells I can understand, but a ship firing a couple warning shots?

Well I wish I had your optimism, I say im optimistic but i'm really not alot of times.

If I lived through the cuban missle crisis I would of prob had a panic attack.

Where have you been?, war IS happening! There's what you see in the media, and what goes on in places you can't see. Chances are everything we're finding out about now has been happening for a long time - but, like I said, technology. Now it's harder and harder to keep it from the public. Which actually sucks, because the public then gets that sense of hopelessness, giving all the power to the few who control what we see, where, and how.

not a bad plan, those latina women are quite amazing

but im not crazy about mexican cuisine, but the alcohol will do.

Yeah, the next thing we need is another war... *sigh*
