Ok, I'm going to go over this step by step.

Step 1: Go back to that "whatreallyhappened" site with the article on the fake bin Laden tape.

Step 2: Look the pictures where it asks you to "find the odd Osama out".

Step 3: Look at the pictures directly above those.

Those pictures you are looking at are from the exact same video as the "odd Osama out" picture. I don't know about you, but to me those frames look a lot like the Osama I've grown accustomed to.

THats it? Thats what youre telling me? To look at the site I sent you?! I know the site... Ive looked at it. Rememeber....I was the one that psoted it. Those pictures above are that same guy that sticks out like a sore thumb. THe only difference is theyre smaller, so it he might blend in slightly more, but he looks nothing like the other pictures of Osama. It's night and day, looking at the pictures of that osama and the rest.

I can't prove all of that because, well, there isn't conclusive proof of it for either side, so this debate is useless, and I really don't care about proving my point to you anymore. However, the alcohol/tobacco thing is the biggest bullshit hypocrisy I've ever witnessed firsthand. "Oh no you can't have pot, you can't do mushrooms, but you can have all the tobacco and alcohol you want!" and that's the beginning of my suspicions. (How many deaths a year from alcohol and tobacco?! And how many people jailed every year for smoking a joint?) Discouragement, yeah right...That's a pretty half-assed thing to do while completely condemning the rest of the pile which hardly stacks up in death/casualty numbers...Drug war = waste of money.

I've stated my points and I don't care what you can try to prove wrong or actually prove wrong, that list was not exhaustive, and quite honestly you didn't even properly answer half of what I said. Whatever, I've now learned from my mistake of debating unanswerable questions with stubborn people like myself. Sounds more like your mad pot is against the law. The fact is there are tons of laws in place to lower the use of them, just because it isn't illegal doesn't mean they are pushing it.

I dont understand why emotions always have to get tangled up in all of this. I put out one idea....someone else contradicts me...I explain myself...they explan themnselves...we listen...we pay attention...we speak our mind..and we learn and grow.

For the osama tape, doesn't it seem like the image was flattened? Like how sometimes the footage screen is flattened to make room for subtitles?

I told you it was just example one. That wasnt the only time the media's tried to pull a fast one.

That picture looked kind of fake without even reading the site. I don't live in london though so can't say anything about them. I know there are a few questionable sources over here too. I just won't read them. A few bad ones doesn't make all of them liers though.

A lot of the "bad" news is more slanted towards one side than lies though, and even counting that there are still some good ones. To say an anti Bush(or anti government) news source would help cover something up though is kind of stupid. If anything some of the bad ones would take the smallest hint and run with it, creating a story like the one on the sites and saying its a fact.

If you think normal news is bad though, internet news is far below it. Tons of site can just make of random things and post whatever they want, which is why you really need to be careful with them.

Time to be straight with you guys. Im somewhat playing devils advocate. My take on all of it is this....

I don't know what happened and i wont pretend to. I can't beleive the mainstream media and I cant believe the internet news either. I have no idea whats true and i dont pretend to. The lesson in seeing "other" media to me is that no media is reliable, unless you're there and actually witness it yourself. I used to get real worked up about news and "whats going on in the world" but I find that every single media source is trying to get you to believe something, and not just reporting events, as is. Any one of them can sound very convincing, and put together a good case. But it really doesnt matter.

But going back on topic slgihtly more, if I were just looking at the evidence that is shown to me, I would say that the pictures from video look nothing like the "real" osama. This video is not jsut in question on "conspiracy theory" sites. Its in question in other parts of the world. Even by people who oppose Osama Bin Laden say that, the video doesnt look right, and ask, Why would sucha criminal Mastermind be so stupid as to recor his own confession to such a crime?

But thats going on the evidence thrown out there. I don't know whats going on, and I can only look at what they give me and work with that. And if you are trusting of the world like that, then look at that video...the images are the same as the site I showed you. Not altered.

I am pretty sure they check all the tapes, not just the video but the sound of his voice and they try to figure out the date it was shot to know if its new or old. Every time a tape comes out they always take forever and a ton of people check it.

I am not sure which one it is, but if everyone checking it says its real, it should be. A lot of the time you get "We are not sure yet", so when they say they are sure they are really sure.

Well it sounds like you heard that there was questions about it then. Not that it just poped up on some site and was like a big surprise because everyone said it was real but they where all lieing and trying to cover it up.

Theyll report the original story but never mention the fact the it was a lie...or even the fact that there is lots of questions from around the world as to the authenticity of this tape.

This is the third time I'll say this...CNN did report that there were questions over the authenticity of the tape!! They even reported that some parts were mistranslated and those translations were misleading.

If that was the hird time you said it Im sorry I missed it(where did u say it?), but the underlining point reamins the same. Theyll make the tape a headline when it comes out and only briefly cover the suspicions over it. I cant believe any respectable news source wouldnt go into way more details about this tape and the fact that the government would make such bold statements about it....and that they continue to do so to this day.

now, pay attention to this post, because it may very well be the most important post here....



1. say, the conspiracy theory is true.... so what? that would mean you would try to spread the word, and probibly not vote for bush, waste alot of your life, and become really paranoid

2. say, maybe, it isnt true.... its total BS, and everyone you talk to takes your side on it, now think. How would that change anything either? you will just be setting sides and (wasting more life) and then probibly not vote for kerry... because the war must go on. all in all, you effect about 100 people... heh, nice job! that might change the election! *snickers*

3. you ruin relations, friends you meet on the forums (gameover)*gives evil eye*

4. if #1 is true, WHAT CAN YOU DO ABOUT IT?! nothing.... absolutely nothing... maybe get yourself killed in the process, aka, going into area51 or something...

I don't think most people even give it a second thought. I know if I thought it was true, I wouldn't be wasting my time talking to people on the forum about it. As you said, it gets you no where. There are other things I would be trying to do.

Im not trying to change thw world...just discussing it. This isn't about who should be president. I could care less. Im just discussing the trustworthiness of the media. My point is that I dont have a clue whats true anymore and it doesnt matter.
