      Asprin

Is it good to live off Asprin or anything that helps with headaches? i have a headache almost once every 2-3 days and pretty much live off this stuff. It was tylenol but i ran out and using Ibuprofen or whatever it's called. Sometimes up to 6...2 every 4 hours.

      Ummmm... No?

Try drinking some water and going to the Dr.

By far, Mothra (in all of it's forms) is the worst kaiju of all time.

When i was 13 every single and i mean EVERY SINGLE day for the whole age i had huge headaches that lasted all day. They went away from 14-20 and 20-24(now) it has been alot of headaches again, last Sunday i had my worst one, almost passed out as i was literally yelling from the pain. It's mostly those migranes though, right at the tip of my left or right eye bone (above my eye). It's pretty rare i go 4 days without a headache, it's not rare i can go a week strait with them. It's pretty common i go once every 2 days, and almost common once every 3 days.

It's defiantly not a good idea to live off asprin. It could be what gave me my permanent ear ringing I have now. That or aspartame from diet drinks.

Either way being dependent on a medical drug is disadvantageous. Try to get by with lesser doses if you have to deal with headaches.

Ok, first of all, there's nothing wrong with aspartame. Second, if your ears ring you probably just have wax that's blocking your hearing. Go get them cleaned out.

You walked right into this one.

First of all, aspartame has 92 different symptoms it can cause. A simple google search would have given you an article like this one.

Second of all, I've had tinnitus nonstop for nearly three years, doctor. It might have occurred to me to have my ears checked for wax, too.

      Owned.

Hardly. Any statistician will tell you that such a list of symptoms can be attributed to nearly any food product if you're just looking at correlation between random minor health problems and foods that nearly everyone consumes.

Have you seen a doctor about the headaches? While a certain amount won't hurt you and may help, it's never a good idea to just pump your body full of chemicals. If you've had these headaches for any great length of time, get it checked out. It says so on the bottle.

Here's one for you: did you know aspartame was originally intended as an ant poison? They just accidentally discovered it made a satisfactory sweetener as well.

Actually, you're supposed to boil it to make a tea, or a poultice. Same with White Oak bark, which works great for rashes and such.

You should check with your doctor, but taking the recommended dose of aspirin on a regular basis might not be that bad for you. Doctor's often perscribe a regular dose of aspirin to people with heart problems.

Aspirin is an anti-inflammatory and anti-platelet (platelets cause blood clotting) and so any problems that might arise will probably come if you injure yourself. The aspirin will inhibit your body's natural response to injury and will hinder blood clotting and swelling. It can also cause nose bleeds and hemorraging.

I found a good article on regular aspirin intake pros and cons, although it is written for people who want to take it for heart disease.

Aspirin is an ototoxin, and may be bad for your ears in continuous large doses. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ototoxin
