      Grade Changes

Alright. At my school there is a woman who has an office. She is alone in this office at various points in the day. I need a damn good distraction to get her into the hall way. Then I can get onto her computer, and change the grades for me and my buddies (the helpers in crime.) any good ideas? Her computer is logged on when she is there so that's not a problem.

Also, if caught, what could i get?

Heh first you want to rig the homecoming elections and now this?

Is it really that hard to get a good grade?

Oh yeah, spill coffee over her on accident or something. Best thing I can think of.

Hmm you could always pull the "Mission Impossible" dealio and slip some ipecac syrup in her coffee/drink (found at most drug stores) if you get a chance (causing her to get really really sick and go to the bathroom), enough time for you to get in there and change your grades. No, seriously though, I was there once, I had a D in physics in High School and wanted to get my friend to hack into her computer and change my grade...but I took it like a "man"...just deal with it dude, it might seem like a big deal now, but trust me...in the big scheme of things...it's not. Ask her if you can do some extra credit. Don't be a deviant.

hmm... you should probably try to earn your grades, rather than steal them. just my two cents.

Well, if you want to do that I suggest you go for it. Grades are(or should be) meaningless anyway, in the grand scheme of things. If you are sure you can get away with it go ahead and make us proud....

haha tb, you're such a communist. the grade system is important. human nature is that of laziness... it's that of work and rewards... so what happens when there's no reward? everything get's fucked and the world spins out of control. duh.

      i gotta quick little story...

so there's this girl... she goes to some fancy pants college and learns of all the virtues that accompany sharing and in a sense the basics of communism. she comes home to daddy and speaks of the plight of the working class and how they get fucked on a ritualistic basis... daddy turns to the girl and asks her how her grades are... the girl confesses that she gets straight A's. the daddy inquires about her best friend mariah's grades... the girl sadly conveys that mariah is getting C's... overwhelmed with grief daddy suggests that the girl share her grades with mariah... B's across the board! this sharing of responsibilities will only result in the assassination of grade A work... and it's sickening... are we to give up our best work for 'good' work? so much potential lost...

haha i'm kinda drunk... and by 'kinda' i mean 9 beers and 3 shots... not quite as bad as last week's 12 beers and 4 shots but hey! i can only do so much! gah! lay off!

      - much love, adidas

Changing grades is not a cool idea.

I agree with adidas. Earn your grades like everybody else does. It feels very bad to go home with faked grades, have your parents really pleased and happy for you, glad you're working hard at school and stuff. You'd be cheating yourself and your parents. It's better to go home as a truthful person, not a liar.

Also, if caught, what could i get?[/b]
It varies between schools, but the first one I pulled up in google will give you a 6 month suspension and an F grade for tampering with your grades. Note that your school's computer system may be smarter than you think - they could have Tripwire installed, regular backup comparing, or other computers containing your grade.

In the end it all comes down to morality. What is right and what is wrong. I don't see what is so damn wrong about changing your grades as it is truly not an immoral thing to do. Who really suffers from it? No one...except him, for he is not learning what he is supposed to. Then again, most things you learn in school are good for nothing in the grand scale of things. He attends school without a real option(the only other option, not going to school, will indeed ruin his life) and therefore I would think that if his option is stripped from him he may as well try and outsmart the system and beat them at their own game.

I am not saying you should or shouldn't do it. All I am saying is that if you decide to do it, I support you. Just try your best not to get caught...

The only time it would work is at the very end of the year, or else your teach would notice in a second. They only chance is if your teach never saw it changed, because they will know what it should be if you change it 3 letter grades or something. Then if you did get caught, chances are you would be kicked out of school.

Yeah, if you're doing really poorly, they could call you and tell your parents...and then it would end much worse than if you just got your D.

last year we had a teacher who was a real nice guy, but a sucky teacher. lots of ppl didnt do to well in his class, so what did we all do? why, beg for extra credit, lol. either that or try to come to some agreement w/ him, after awhile he'd give up. this'll only work before the grades have been set, otherwise, well you should just try to do better in the future

DarudeMaxX, I'll try your way first. Then we go into the realm of illegal grade changes.

Do the ends justify the means? High School grades don't count for much, but it's still, IMO, something we should take responsibility. What about later in life. Are you going to try go electronically change your grades in college? Good luck there if you get caught. I've been failing classes before. If you're missing assignments ask the teacher if you can re-do them, or ask for extra credit. If they allow you to, then DO IT! Because if you don't then they won't have any respect for you then.

      Just my two cents.
