Well, it's my turn to say goodbyes.. It's not that I want to leave, but I have to. I joined the US Air Force about 5 months ago.. and the waiting list was so long it seemed like it would never happen. Well that 5 months sure flew by. I'm leaving for basic training tomorrow which lasts 2 months, then I'm off directly to tech school which might take anywhere from 6 months to over a year.

So I'll be back someday, hehe. It's funny because I've never been a fan of the military, but I'm really just using the system to my advantage here.

Gonna get an education, good training, benefits up the ass, and open up a doorway to many more opportunities in life. I plan to walk from mexico to canada when I come out in 4 years, and the military will provide me with enough training and money to accomplish that.

So good things ahead.

Anyway sorry for the book here, I love you all DV. You guys are a bizarre but crazy and awesome bunch, and I've learned much from you guys and I'm honored to have had the opportunity to meet many of you and to have had the privilege to read the fascinating ideas that come out of your heads.

Keep on dreaming folks, I shall serve and protect you all meanwhile.

Just ran the figures in google maps. To go from border to border, it'll take you about 20 -23 days to travel from Mexico to Canada on foot...and that's without rest. Good luck buddy. Stop by every now and then.
