i guess you could say that im a virgin to the poll (hehehehe, pole

) so im giving it a shot.

my question is this. who would win in a fight? a pirate or a ninja.

i say pirate, and here's my reasoning.
-fact, pirates know how to sword fight.
-fact, pirates are bad asses
-fact, pirates are strong
-fact, pirates wont let emotions get in the way of their goals
-fact, pirates are bad asses
-fact, pirates have pistols
-fact, the earth is composed of 2/3 water, giving pirates the home field advantage 2/3 of the time.
-fact, pirates say arrrrrrrrrr
-fact, pirates can loose a limb and keep on fighting (the peg leg)
-fact, pirates say ^booty^ a lot
-fact, ninjas are highly romanticized and not all they are cracked up to be.
-fact, ninja aren't experienced in face to face combat. they're sneaky fellas.
-fact, ninjas are mostly asian, meaning (on average) they would have a smaller body mass than a pirate.
-fact, ninja's are restricted to reality (gravity and the rules of physics). meaning there's no running up walls, disappearing in midair, or dodging bullets.

now a samarai might give a pirate a run for his money... but in my opinion the ninja would fall in this epic battle. what do you think? please give facts to support your decision.

how? he has to adheir to the laws of physics. theres no super human speed here.... would he throw a ninja death star or some pussy thing like that? if this ninja of yours threw a ninja death star thing; either the pirate would catch it in his teeth or if by some miracle it did hit him, it would just piss him off, making the death of your precious ninja a slow and painful one.

im not arguing that, and no ninjas cant carry guns. -- ninjas are quicker, but that wont do anything when a pirate is looking you in the eye. you aren't sooo quick that you can disappear and reappear behind the pirate... that's not possible. *sigh* so young, so naïve.

And plus, pirates only carry revolvers! As long as the ninja doesn't get hit after the eight (at the most) shots, the pirate is pretty much screwed.

uhh they have 1 shot powder pistols... and they are damn good shots with them. sorry you havnt convinced me that a ninja would win.

pirates have experience

hmmm

if the pirate gets the first shot and the pirate isnt drunk... MAYBE the pirate might win.

edit: the pirate also needs the use of both eyes
